Ah!Giclée will mount your paper or canvas prints depending on your requirements.
Our canvas prints can be delivered un-stretched for special mounting or installation requirements. We also offer canvas prints stretched on quality wood-stretcher bars for framing or frameless displaying. For frameless displaying our gallery wrap can extend print image to wrap-around to sides. We can also print a solid black side-wrap or leave canvas unprinted as a white side-wrap.
For certain paper prints we mount on Gatorfoam. Paper and Canvas prints are razor-cut along edge of board for both borderless and prints with border.
For Fine Art Giclée’s we do not recommend permanent mounting to board. We recommend using a professional framer for your fine art giclée’s and art prints that can offer other solutions and unique framing methods to maintain the value of your print and by using archival / acid free materials and framing methods.
Ah!Giclée has invested in one of the finest giclée printers on the market, the Epson Stylus Pro 9900 that uses advanced ink technology and Epson’s compatible substrates to assure you a superior giclée print with high archival and lightfast standards.
Although the giclée print technology is very advanced in producing museum quality reproductions of your original and digital art many professionals prefer to also apply a compatible UV finish (varnish). This provides for extra added protection against image fading and surface abrasion as well as maintaining long-term care and cleaning of your canvas and paper giclée’s.
Another benefit to varnishing your print is that it enhances colors and brings added visual depth to your image. We apply our varnish with different application processes that create a subtle surface enrichment adding to the overall beauty of your giclée print.
Varnishes come in Matte, Satin, and Gloss. Most popular is Satin finish.
