Tracy (b. 1985) began studying art at an early age through a local art studio that offered a comprehensive art program for children and young adults. Through this program she studied the works and techniques of art masters such as Cézanne, Degas, and Monet. Tracy continued to pursue her artistic passions though high school and college, which provided her an opportunity to cultivate and develop her own personal style and approach to art.
Tracy attended Azusa Pacific University where she studied to become an art teacher. In 2007 Tracy graduated with a BA in Liberal Studies and a minor in Art. Tracy has also studied illustration at the renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena under Caldecott award-winning illustrator and author Marla Frazee. In addition to her formal education, Tracy has participated in a number of art workshops & seminars through the Fine Artist Factory in Pasadena.
Since graduating from college, Tracy has taken the post of art teacher at Arcadia Christian School, where she has been teaching for the past seven years. When not in the classroom, Tracy works as a freelance artist. Her particular focus is selling commissioned paintings and working on murals, both private & commercial. Aside from her normal painting endeavors, Tracy is currently working on illustrations for a children’s book.
